What’s in Store for 2025: Creating Art, Supporting Rescues, and Building Community

As we step into a new year, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and gratitude for everything 2024 has brought and the possibilities that 2025 holds. Every year, I try to reflect on what’s worked, what’s inspired me, and how I can continue to grow—not just as a photographer, but as someone who celebrates the love and connection between people and their pets.

2025 feels like a year of massive shifts, of leaning further into what lights me up and finding new ways to serve my clients and community. Come with me as I share some of what we’re looking forward to in the upcoming 12 months.

Filling Homes with Love Through Art

One of my biggest goals for 2025 is to focus even more on creating custom wall art for my clients. There’s something magical about turning a photo into something tangible—a piece of art that fills your home with warmth and love. It’s about more than just pictures; it’s about celebrating what matters most in a way that you can see and feel every single day.

Last year, the reactions of my clients spoke volumes about what was most valuable. While everyone loved their digital files and sharing them on social media, the clients that we delivered wall art to had had a much deeper and emotional reaction. Some gasped, some cried, and all of them were incredibly thankful for what we created together and how we took care of the entire process for them from creation to installation.

This year, I’ll be stepping further into the role of artist and designer, helping clients transform their session into meaningful artwork and not just digital files. Whether it’s a gallery wall showcasing a lifetime of love or an album that tells the story of companionship and unconditional love, I want to help you create something truly special.

In-Home Design and Style Appointments

To bring your vision to life, I’m thrilled to introduce in-home style and design appointments.

Before your session, I’ll visit your home to get to know your style, meet your pets, and help plan every detail. We’ll choose wardrobe options, discuss colors and themes, and map out the perfect artwork for the spaces you’re wanting to fill.

These appointments are more than just logistics—they’re about creating an experience that feels personal and collaborative. Together, we’ll design something that fits seamlessly into your home and brings you joy each and every day.

Supporting Rescues and Giving Back

I’ve always believed in using my work to make a difference, and this year, I’m committed to supporting rescues in even bigger and more meaningful ways than we already have. Our new monthly Foster Photo Days are just one of the ways we’re making that happen. These sessions will help rescues showcase adoptable pets in their best light, increasing their chances of finding loving homes.

In addition, I’ll be donating a portion of sales quarterly to various rescue organizations throughout the Seattle-Tacoma areas and hosting more fundraisers throughout the year. Some of these will tie into personal projects close to my heart—like raising awareness about black pet syndrome, celebrating disabled pets, and honoring the bond between senior pets and their humans, and so many other ideas in the works.

These projects are about more than photography; they’re about telling stories, sparking change, and giving back to the animals who give us so much.

Expanding into Branding and Headshots

This year, I’m also expanding my portfolio to include branding and headshots. I’m excited to help individuals and small business owners tell their stories and elevate their brands with authentic, professional imagery. Whether it’s capturing a CEO and her soul-dog for a personal branding shoot or creating modern headshots for a team of entrepreneurs, I’m ready to bring these stories to life and create even more community.

Supporting More Photographers Through Mentoring

Helping other photographers build the businesses of their dreams has been such a rewarding new aspect of this business in the last couple years. In 2025, I’m opening even more mentoring spots to support photographers who want to make an impact while doing work they love.

It’s not just about teaching photography—it’s about sharing the tools, strategies, and mindset shifts that have helped me grow my own business. My goal is to empower others to chase their dreams, tell meaningful stories, and create work that lights them up.

Looking ahead, 2025 is going to be a year of growth, creativity, and connection. It’s about focusing on what matters most—creating art, celebrating the love between pets and their people, and giving back to the community that means so much to me.

To everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you. Your trust, your stories, and your love for your pets inspire everything I do. Here’s to a year full of beauty, kindness, and new adventures.
