A Holiday Wishlist to My Clients

Anyone who’s met me would know, I’m a giver. I give my all to everyone, my love language is gift giving, I give to rescues and charities. I give and give, and give some more.

As a photographer, I often think about what I can give to my clients—timeless images, meaningful moments, love and understanding, and a way to cherish the incredibly special bond they share with their pets. But this week, as we near the holidays and I reflect on the idea of wish lists, my heart swells with all the hopes I carry for the incredible people and pets I’ve had the privilege to meet and work with.

Because you’re all such wonderful, amazing dog moms and dads. The love you give to your dogs (and cats, too!) is endless, matching their never-ending love for you. As a photographer, I get to see firsthand just how special these bonds are, and it’s a privilege to document them.

But beyond the images I create, I carry so many wishes for the people and pets I have the honor of working with. These aren’t just hopes for beautiful photos—they’re wishes for love, joy, and the kind of memories that linger long after the moment has passed.

So, here’s my wish list for you, dear clients.

1. A Home Filled with Love and Tail-Waggin’ Adventures

Every home has a story to tell, and pets are such an integral part of it. I wish for your walls to tell your story—a story of laughter, companionship, and the moments that matter most. I wish for walls that speak of wagging tails, playful antics, and quiet moments of comfort. May your space be filled with images that make you smile every time you pass them—portraits that remind you of the joy your pets bring to your life.

Because when you wake up to their goofy grin immortalized on the wall, or glance at that tender moment frozen in time, it’s not just décor. It’s a reminder of the fluffy love that fills your home.

2. A Life Full of Small Joys

It’s the little things, isn’t it? The way your dog thumps their tail the second you walk into the room or the way your cat curls into just the right spot on your lap as soon as you sit down. These seemingly small moments are the ones that shape the fabric of your life together.

I wish for you to savor them—to pause, take them in, and let them fill your heart. They are, after all, the magic of life with a pet.

3. A Deep Connection with Your Pets

I wish for you to always feel the connection that makes your bond with your pet so unique. The kind of love that speaks without words and fills your heart without trying. And I wish that you never doubt that you’re enough or a good dog mom, because you ARE.

May your days together be filled with trust, companionship, and the understanding that you are their whole world—just as they are yours.

4. Time That Feels Long Enough

This one is a big wish, and one I know isn’t always possible. I wish for you to have time—time to create adventures, to share lazy Sundays, to fill your heart with all the moments you can. I hope you can savor every big and little moment shared with them.

And when the time comes for goodbyes, I wish for you to find comfort in knowing that you gave them the best life you could, full of love and joy, and lots of treats.

5. Memories That Feel Tangible

I wish for you to always have something to hold onto—a favorite photo, a keepsake collar, a paw print. Life moves so quickly, and our pets are here for such a fleeting time. But with every wag, every purr, every nuzzle, they leave behind something extraordinary.

May you always have a way to revisit those memories, to feel the warmth of their love on even the hardest days. A way to reconnect and bring yourself back into the moments you cherished most.

6. A Legacy of Love

Pets have a way of leaving their mark on the world, not just in our lives but in the lives of those around us. I wish for your bond to inspire others—to show the depth of love that exists between humans and animals.

I wish for your love for your pets to leave ripples in the world. Whether it’s the way you show kindness to another animal, the stories you share about your dog’s silliness or your cat’s sass, or the lessons of loyalty and unconditional love they’ve taught you—may their legacy live on in your heart and in your actions.

7. A Life That Feels Whole

Finally, I wish for you to feel whole. Whether you’re snuggling a new puppy, sharing quiet moments with a senior pet, or grieving the loss of a beloved companion, may your life feel full of the love that only a pet can bring.

Because at the end of the day, our lives are richer for having known them, aren’t they?

These wishes come from the deepest part of my heart, not just as a photographer, but as someone who understands what it means to love and be loved by a pet. They are more than wishes—they are the foundation of why I do what I do.

So, to my clients: thank you for letting me be part of your journey. Thank you for allowing me to celebrate the love you share with your pets, to capture your stories, and to help you hold onto these moments forever.
